Window Stories
The Businesses & Commercial Properties Committee Window Stories initiative is a way for KVIS to enhance the visual appeal and interest of the Village while helping Kenmore commercial property owners. Those who have commercial spaces available for sale or lease in the Village are given the opportunity to have KVIS place graphic art in the windows of these spaces.

We use many different types of art and craft from pictures made by disabled children to professional painters and sculptors. If you, or someone you know are interested in having your work displayed and/or would like to participate in this unique initiative, please contact the KVIS.

- To encourage walking, browsing, and looking along our business areas.
- To demonstrate the transformative effects of art displayed for the public.

Decorating Contests for Businesses
To help add to the visual appeal of the business streets, the KVIS Businesses & Commercial Properties Committee periodically has seasonal decorating contests for businesses. Each business that decorates is automatically entered to win a prize and framed award certificate -there are several winners for each contest. This is a fun and easy way for businesses to show that they care about the visual appeal of the Village and that they understand that better looking businesses attract more customers. We are so grateful to have such caring and creative businesses in Kenmore and are thankful to them for their efforts.
