About the Event
Our Franco's Pizza Children’s Concert Series is a beloved and unique music event in Western New York. Held annually during the summer in the Village of Kenmore, it offers free concerts for families. This year, the series takes place every Tuesday at 6:15pm from July 8th -29th. Held on the Kenmore Junior Senior High School lawn, the concerts attract a large crowd, with hundreds of attendees at each concert and thousands throughout the series. Families from the Ken-Ton area and beyond, including Lockport, Hamburg, and even Southern Ontario, come to enjoy the free shows.
Our goal with the concert series is to provide enjoyable and educational entertainment for families. We aim to engage children and adults through music, creating a passive learning experience. Each year, we curate a diverse lineup that showcases various musical styles and eras from around the world. This allows parents to introduce their children to a wide range of musical sounds while offering a fun, safe, and entertaining environment for everyone to enjoy.

This Year's Concert Lineup
July 8: American Legion Band of the Tonawandas
We open the Series with our own area community, symphonic, and parade band! This band is one of the largest in the area.
Free gift to the first 200 children at this concert.
July 15: Almost Seamus
This eclectic celtic music will have us up and dancing while the lead violin will have us giggling and twirling too!
July 22: Backroom Jazz Band
The Dixieland jazz is sure to have us tapping our toes, clapping our hands, swinging, and singing along with their music!
July 29: Erie County Wind Ensemble
The BIG sound of this 50 piece band is a Series favorite! This is also our Little Night Out Celebration with our Kenmore Fire and Police Departments.

Want to perform at the Concert series?
The musicians chosen to perform the Children’s concerts must provide the materials below to be considered to be included in the series; only those who have previous experience performing for children are considered. We strive to create a balanced series and consider this not just in what we plan annually for each series but what the series previous featured as well.
- List of where/who you've performed for in the past including three references; please only include performances for children.
- A description of the type of music you perform.
- The number of people and instruments in your group.
- The cost of a one hour performance.
- A link to someplace online where we can see an example of your performance
