Small Business Saturday
Small Business Saturday is a nation wide initiative to help businesses with their most pressing need -getting more customers. The day encourages people to shop at local small businesses on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Small Business Saturday has grown into a powerful movement with more people taking part every year. Founded by American Express, our Kenmore businesses benefit in participating from the tremendous amount of local and national advertising the company does to promote the day.
Our Kenmore Small Business Saturday is a day when we encourage people to come here for the day. Start with a delicious breakfast at any of our many restaurants. After breakfast start shopping for gifts of all kinds from something practical or fanciful; it’s so easy to get around by car or by foot in Kenmore and all our retail businesses are less than 1.5 miles away from another. Catch another bite before or after going to the Village Green at 1:00 pm for the lighting of the Christmas tree and Santa’s arrival to the Village; there’s hot chocolate, music and lots of smiles and merriment–and it’s all free!
