Valentines on Ice
Valentine’s Day is celebrated by the KVIS in two ways through Valentine Appreciation Gifts (see Welcoming Committee) and the Valentine Skating Party.
The Valentine Skating Party event is held at the Kenmore Cultural Center building and Mang Park. We have the former basketball area flooded and manicured for the event. Seasonal music is played while everyone skates or glides along the ice. Hot chocolate and treats are available inside as well as crafts and more for families to enjoy as they warm themselves before going out for more fun. If it is cold enough before the event then we are able to have this event but if we have a thaw, we reschedule. Please check our website and Facebook page for updates and notices about this event.
