7 Warren Ave is the home of the KVIS, holding our meeting space and our shop called Made for Good. Events held here are interesting and varied -from art classes to cake decorating classes, to open mic poetry jams. Most events are free but our classes usually have a fee associated with them to help cover the cost of materials, etc.

Hi book lovers -Pat and Maggie here. We are the new co-facilitators of the Kenmore Village Improvement Society's book club. Pat is a long-time member of KVIS, currently the Shopkeeper Coordinator, and a lifelong reader who enjoys a wide variety of genres. Maggie is a KVIS member and Shopkeeper who has three boys, works full time, and enjoys reading and volunteering. We invite you to join the book club or attend as your schedule allows. We plan for this to be a fun and low-stress chance to socialize with neighbors and read books selected by the group. The KVIS will provide refreshments, but attendees are welcome to contribute food if they are so inclined. We will meet every other month on the second Thursday of the month. We will have a few questions ready to get the discussion started, but there are no rules - bring your questions, comments, emotions, all of it. Did you love the book? Hate it? Not understand it? Wish it ended differently? Bring it on!

Cake decorating by fat cat sweets
Our pastry chef from Fat Cat Sweets leads hands-on cake decorating classes on Saturday afternoons at 7 Warren. Participants are guided step by step through techniques for creating beautiful, playful cakes and cupcakes — and leave with both their creations and the skills to make more at home. Classes are appropriate for beginners, and all materials are provided.
